Slow Cooker Chicken and Sausage Gumbo

2 cups chicken broth
2 large, boneless, skinless chicken breasts
4 links smoked Andouille sausage (can use chicken Andouille)
14 1/2 ounce can diced tomatoes
1 large green pepper, chopped
1 large onion, chopped
2 stalks celery, sliced
1 cup okra, sliced
1 jalapeno pepper, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 bay leaf
2 teaspoons thyme
2 teaspoons oregano
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
2 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper

2 cups rice

Add all ingredients, except rice, to a slow cooker. Cover and cook on high for 6 hours. Serve over rice.
