Apple Cinnamon Muffins with Crumb Topping Recipe

These are the perfect fall muffin! You are in for a real treat if you make these delicious muffins.

Apple Cinnamon Muffins with Crumb Topping:

Batter:
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon salt
4 teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
2/3 cup oil
2 eggs
2/3 cup milk
4 apples-peeled, cored and chopped

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Grease or line 24 muffin cups.

In a large bowl stir together dry ingredients. In a separate bowl, mix together oil, egg and milk. Fold in apples. Spoon batter into prepared muffin cups.

Crumb Topping:
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
pinch of salt
2 Tablespoons butter

Stir together dry ingredients. Crumble butter into mixture. Sprinkle over muffins.

Bake muffins for 20 minutes. Remove to a wire rack.
